Interesting or inspiring articles (perhaps a bit of both) …

Each week, we share links to a few interesting or inspiring articles we’ve come across during the previous week. They’re meant to stir your thinking about marketing, communication and graphic design for positive change as well as conscious capitalism and the socially conscious movement.

Brand

Organizational change is difficult and often fails because the implementation was not well thought out. Here’s a great article that outlines some of the critical elements to focus on during any corporate change. This thought resonated with us: “Culture influences an organization’s ability to deliver on its brand promise.”

Social media

Conscious capitalism

We weren’t attracted to this story because it mentions Donald Trump, but we kept reading because the article does a great job of summarizing the different business models that can be classified as being socially conscious and includes a few cases studies as well.

Graphic design

On a lighter note, here’s an article on the font Helvetica and it’s universal appeal, including being the font of choice for the FDA’s nutrition labeling. After much deliberation, the label is being revised, but the font is staying. Long live Helvetica!
